Summer in the City Lecture Series: Christianity and the Human Body

This week (August 5-8) HBU is hosting the Summer in the City Lecture Series with a focus on “Christianity and the Human Body”.  This is open to all and you would be more than welcome to attend.  Two faculty from our School of Christian Thought will be speaking–Nancy Pearcey and Jeff Green.

All lectures are from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will be in Belin Chapel.

  • Monday, August 5, “Identity in a Secular Age,” Nancy Pearcey, director, Francis Schaeffer Center for Worldview and Culture
  • Tuesday, August 6, “Real Beauty,” HBU Provost, John Mark Reynolds
  • Wednesday, August 7, “Contemporary British Art and the Body,” Jeffrey Green, dean, School of Christian Thought
  • Thursday, August 8, “Liberty and the Body,” HBU Associate Provost Robert Stacey
